- Asst' Female Director: assists the Female Director with female divisions

2016 Field Lacrosse - Tryouts/Evalutaions

We are now moving closer to final cuts for the U11 and up Tier 1 teams as well as getting the evaluations started for the girls program and our U9 and U7 kids.  It is a busy yet exciting time of year for us, but the season start is just around the corner!

If you have not heard anything yet regarding the boys division tryouts and you have registered for U11 up to U18, please contact our 4th Vice, Kim.  Should you have any questions regarding the Female program and the start of the season, please contact our Female Director,Trish.

The tryout schedule is subject to change, and we will do our best to have the most up to date schedule here on the website, but please make sure you verify with your coaches to ensure you have the correct times.

The schedule now will be posted under the field tab on the top drop down of the website.  It is a PDF document.

As well, if you have not registered, then please head here as divisions are filling up.  From the looks of it, we will have another large jump in our registration numbers as more kids discover this fantastic game!  Click here to head to our registration page.

The Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT) includes three toolkits providing training in the recognition, treatment and management of concussion for: 1) Medical Professionals; (2) Parents, Players, and Coaches; and (3) School Professionals.

CATT is free, accessible and regularly updated with evidence-based information and resources. Each toolkit includes a self-paced learning module as well as tailored resources relevant to the specific audience.

The Canadian Paediatric Society recommends that anyone involved in child and youth sport should be educated about the signs and symptoms of concussion and the appropriate management of a child with a concussion.
