2nd Notice: RMMLA AGM / Nov. 6th

AGM Meeting Date: Monday November 6th, 7pm

Meeting Registration:
Members wishing to participate in the Annual General Meeting must pre-register using the Zoom platform.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Please note the following:

? Proposed RMMLA Constitution and By-Laws changes - Deadline: Monday October 16th at 5:00pm
o No proposed changes were received by the Secretary prior to deadline
? Proposed RMMLA Policy Manual changes - Deadline: Monday October 16th at 5:00pm
o No proposed changes were received by the Secretary prior to deadline

The term for the following positions expire and require election of members.
? 1st Vice President
o Current incumbent: Dave Samson. Dave Samson will not be seeking re-election
o Nominated: Will Lockwood (no other nominations brought forward)
? 3rd Vice President
o Nominated: Rich Bonner (agreed to have name stand for another term)
? Treasurer
o Andrew Koran (agreed to have name stand for another term)
? Secretary
o Dennis Hertslet (agreed to have name stand for another term)
? 2nd Director at Large
o Damian Teasdale (agreed to have name stand for another term)
? 3rd Director at Large
o Curt Malawsky (agreed to have name stand for another term)

As per By-Law 4.8.4(a)

Nominations for elected positions must be received by the Secretary 14 days prior to the Annual
General Meeting (AGM). Nominations will not be received from the floor during the AGM or any
Special Meeting.

2 NOTE TO AGM PARTICIPANTS

We are looking forward to your participation at the RMMLA AGM. Following are some details for you to
review in preparation for the meeting:
- We will be using ZOOM to host the meeting. If you have never used Zoom before, you will need to
install the app (https://zoom.us). You can do this any time before the meeting starts. Allow 5-10
minutes to complete the download and checks.
- Voting members are required to pre-register through Zoom to attend the AGM meeting. Definition
of a Voting Member:
o Regular Membership (Voting) 3.2.1 Regular Members include any parent or legal guardian
who enters their contact information on their child’s registration form for the current
lacrosse season. In cases of a player of legal age who plays, the player shall be deemed the
sole member. There shall be a maximum of two voting memberships available per family.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the
meeting.
- Please do not share these links/Meeting ID with others.
- The meeting will be held on November 6th at 7:00pm. We will open the Zoom waiting room at
6:30pm if you want to sign in early and make sure your technology is working.
- Dennis Hertslet will be providing tech support beginning at 6:30pm and throughout the meeting. If
you have a problem, you can contact him at secretary@rmburrards.com. You may also contact
Dennis prior to the meeting date if you have questions/problems with Zoom set-up.
- Throughout the meeting, you can use the Q&A button to ask a question or to indicate that you
would like to ask a question verbally.
- With a group our size, we ask you to keep your microphone muted except when talking to the
group.
- Voting: In our virtual environment, our Chair will engage participants in discussion on each motion
until all questions have been answered and then we will have a poll so that everyone can respond
to indicate their agreement/disagreement.

3 We will be recording the meeting for our own internal purposes only (help with minutes, reviewing
the voting, etc.) The recording will also include the public Chat.
