SPRING Shooting Stars Registration Open

🌟 Spring 2026 Shooting Stars Program 🌟

The Ridge Meadows Burrards are excited to offer the Shooting Stars Program for children born in 2022 and 2023!

This program is designed to introduce young players to lacrosse in a fun and active environment.

Through games and simple skill-building activities, kids will get their first experience handling a lacrosse stick while having lots of fun.

Program Details

Dates: April 11 - May 2, 2026

Duration: 4 weeks (8 practices)

Practice Times: Wednesdays: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM & Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Location: MRSS Outdoor Box

Cost: $30 per player

Registration includes:

A Burrards reversible practice pinnie (players keep it!)

A trophy at the BIG GAME wrap-up event

Equipment Required

Players will need:Helmet with cage

Shoulder pads

Elbow pads

Lacrosse gloves (preferred) or hockey gloves

Jock/Jill

Running shoes

Lacrosse stick

Knee pads (optional)

Volunteers Needed

The Shooting Stars program relies on parent volunteers to help run practices.

We especially need assistant coaches with previous lacrosse experience & parents willing to help support practices
